Beautiful 6" 100% silk pelican applique chalice pall. The applique is glued on and then hand stitched on the edges. Pall is made from 100% linen and is 8". Insert is plexiglass. Edges finished with beige gimp. 1-2 week lead time.

The pelican symbolizes Jesus our Redeemer who gave His life for our redemption and the atonement He made through His passion and death. The pelican was believed to pierce its own breast with its beak and feed its young of its blood. It became a symbol of Christ sacrificing himself for man.
